We look for families who are honest, loving people. We do not discriminate regarding religion, race, age or marital status. The children we place are born tiny, innocent citizens of the world and deserve the best opportunities and families we can help them find.

I-600a
The I-600a is not sent to Guatemala; you file them in the US to get your family's I-171H. The I-171H (the US approval issued in response to the filing of the I-600A) is what we send to the attorney to go in your case file presented to the US Embassy in Guatemala.
Filing Fee Increase Information:
Effective July 30, 2007, the filing fee for this application will increase to $750 (including biometrics for one person) plus $80 biometric fee for each person 18 years of age or older living with you. Applications postmarked on or after July 30 must be accompanied by the new fee.

Power of Attorney This is entered in the Civil Registry in Guatemala and gives your attorney authority to handle your adoption case. It must be registered there before the Guatemalan side of the adoption can begin.

G-28 This is the US form authorizing a Guatemalan attorney to act in your behalf.

I-600 This is the request for the actual immigrant visa, filed at the US Embassy when you take your child for the visa appointment after the pink slip is issued.
