Requirements to adopt a
child from Guatemala are very liberal;
• The adoptive parents must be 25 years old or older.
• Single women or men may adopt.
• Parents must be of good moral character, in good health
and financially stable.
• a short stay of 3-4 days to pick up your child OR an
escort can be arranged.
An average
adoption takes 6-8 months. Most referrals are relinquished newborns.
